Here are our supplies. Let’s get started!!
Stick a toothpick into each foam ball.
For Minnie paint 2 small foam balls red for ears and 1 large foam ball red for her head. For Mickey paint 2 small foam balls black for ears and 1 large foam ball black for his head.
Let the paint dry for a few min. Use a piece of packaging foam over an empty box or an empty egg carton. Paint does not have to be completely set to continue to next step.
Completely cover each ball with Mod Podge and add glitter. We found that Minnie(red) needed two coats of glitter but the Mickey(black) looked great after just one coat.
Take the cap off of the top of another old or extra ornament and dip it in Mod Podge and press into the top of the large foam ball.
Measure down from the cap approximately about an inch to add the ears on either side of the head.
Here it is! Our Be-glittered Minnie Ornament!!
Add string and place on your tree!!
These ornaments will bring magic to any space in your house you may find to hang them or make great DIY gifts for that special fan Disney on your list.
Have fun and Merry Christmas!
And if you see Mickey before we do, tell him we said Hi!
